There weren't any amenities within walking distance, so we had to drive to find dinner.
The room was nice and clean and they had a really nice indoor pool and spa. The continental breakfast was really good lots to choose from.
One of the staff members accidentally gave up our double queen room and gave us a king room, which wasn't going to work with a family of 4. There were no more double queen rooms available. The staff offered us a double queen in a smoking room which turned out fine because it didn't smell like smoke.
Comfortable beds and easy access to and from the hotel.
Road noise was a little distracting at first but settled down in time for sleep.
The room was clean and presentable
When I booked the room it said it had a view. I opened the drapes and saw a tree and a bush. While we only had coffee and a roll one morning, the breakfast wasn't too appetizing. (Most of these aren't) There was one chair in the room to sit at the table. We had a lite dinner in our room and with a refer and microwave, you would think they could have had two.
Door had problems with key card demagnetized Cable went out
We arrived at dusk. The sign on Hey 20 is hard to spot. We almost missed it. I also thought, for the time of year, the rate of $149.00 plus tax was about $20.00 over priced. We stay at Holiday Inn Express's several times a year and this was about $20.00 higher than we are accustomed to paying. We pay $89.00 to $129.00 per night. Our second choice is Best Western Motels which are comparable and cost less.
The price. Everything else was very nice.
It was clean
I could hear people running around, yelling in hall.
Comfy room, close to everything, nice pool and hot tub, instant hot water
Hwy. 20 noise Low shower head heater had trouble getting the room warm and then got too hot.
The facility is nice and clean. Breakfast is provided with pancake, fruits etc There is a small gym and a pool. Definitely worth the money.
gym is relatively small with no sanitizing wipes. Some machines are out of service
We brought almost everything we needed.
The bed was like a slab of cement. The tub was so slippery I slipped but thankfully didn't fall. No plugs by the bed. Had to call right after check in for tp. No overall info of the grounds.
Everything was great, staff were friendly and it was clean that's a plus, breakfast was great and a great location!!
Beds were uncomfortable
Breakfast had a very good selection. Frig and microwave were nice amenities.
My only real complaint was location. Not really within Ft. Bragg and a long, long way to ocean access. Located on the road into Ft. Bragg, it can be difficult to pull into nd out of drive.
I loved the free breakfast. And the free wifi.
I didn't like that I paid for a room with a view. Well the view was the top of a building.
Once you finish the long windy road there is the hotel.. Very clean , great pool and hot tub, nice staff , pretty good breakfast ..met our standards and close to the glass beach
The bathroom fan was not awesome, where you would have to leave the bathroom open so it wouldn't get so foggy .. But that's really it.. Not that big of an issue.
the room and the television
the food and crowded conditions in the dining room
